Certification Practice Statement

Certification Practice Statement is a framework document that describes the certification practices and procedures used by SK while providing certification services including concepts and procedures connected to the service. CPS is in accordance with digital signature law specifying the actions stipulated in the act. CPS also governs the SK operations not related to the digital signature law such as issuing device certificates which are certification services but issued certificates do not allow to give digital signatures.

CPS is a framework document that in this form is not applicable to certification services. Each certification service is related to its individual certification policy that specifies the parameters and operations connected to the service. Some services are similar in many circumstances and in this context the service policies refer directly to the CPS. Therefore in these issues CPS in directly applicable to the services.
