Customer Service Points

Here you will find a list of the customer service points of SK:

In SK’s customer service points you can perform the following operations:

  • Verification, updating, suspension, cancellation and activation of ID card certificates;
  • Receipt of a new PIN envelope (free of charge in PPA, for a fee in SEB and Swedbank).

The term of validity of an ID card applied for after 1 January 2007 and the certificates transferred on it is 5 years. Since the term of validity of the card as well as the certificates transferred on it is the same, you do not need to update the certificates.

The term of validity of an ID card applied for before 1 January 2007 is ten years as an identity document and the term of validity of certificates is 3 years. Thus, the certificates enabling the electronic functions of the card must be updated once every three years.

NB! Certificates can be updated free of charge by those ID card holders whose certificates will expire in less than 105 days or whose certificates have already expired and whose certificates have not been suspended or abolished.

Only in the service points of the Police and Border Guard Board and Citizenship and Migration Board certificates can be updated free of charge.

In bank branches you can update certificates free of charge and for a fee.

Where necessary, the easiest way of suspension of your ID card certificates is to call ID card hotline at 1777 or (+ 372) 677 3377.

ID cards applied for after 15 January 2007 are issued only in the service points of the Citizenship and Migration Offices of the Police and Border Guard Board.
